Eagles LandingLakeside Cottages

Team retreats on a Maine lake, with nobody else around.

Five lakefront cabins with Wi-Fi in every one, room for fifty, and the whole shore to your team. Working sessions at the kitchen tables, mornings on the dock, dinner around the fire. It's a long way from the office, which is the point.

How it works

One call books the team in.

Two cabins for a leadership offsite or all five for the whole company, on one contract.

Rough is fine: the weeks you're weighing and roughly how many are coming.

We check every cabin at once

We come back with what's open and one all-in price, usually the same day.

One deposit holds it

25% at booking, the balance 30 days before arrival. Cancel more than 90 days out and it's refunded in full.

The team arrives

Check-in from 4:00 pm, door codes sent ahead, and one of us is a phone call away.

Work and the lake

Mornings for thinking, afternoons on the water.

Room for everyone to eat at Eagles Landing Lakeside Cottages.
Working sessions

Five living rooms, five kitchen tables.

Each cabin works as a breakout room, with Wi-Fi, air conditioning and coffee on in the kitchen. There isn't one room that seats fifty, so bigger teams meet in the screened gazebo, on the lawn, or under a tent they bring.

A group paddling kayaks together along a quiet, tree-lined stretch of water.
Time outside

The team-building is the lake.

Free kayaks and canoes, a pontoon to rent from our dock, fishing off the docks, and trail access for ATVs in summer and snowmobiles in winter. Cornhole and giant Connect Four in the gazebo settle the rest.

The fire pit at Eagles Landing at sunset, with open lawn running down to Eagle Lake.
Evenings

Dinner on the grills, then the fire.

Five gas grills and five full kitchens feed the group, or bring a caterer. Five fire pits come with firewood, and the sun sets across the water.

The practical stuff

What retreat planners ask us first.

Getting here

Presque Isle airport is about an hour away and Bangor about three and a half. Most teams drive and carpool. There's parking for cars, trucks and trailers.

Any season

We're open all year. Summer weeks run Saturday to Saturday; spring, fall and winter stays can be shorter.

Food

Eagle Lake Grocery is three minutes away and the bigger supermarket in Fort Kent about 25. Five kitchens cover the cooking, or bring a caterer.

Smaller teams

Book two, three or four cabins on one contract. With fewer than five, other guests may be staying in the rest.

What it costs

Priced per cabin, all in.

Worked out from our published rates, with the $150-per-cabin cleaning charge and Maine's 9% lodging tax included. Your quote will be exact; these are close.
